I just love Chick-fil-A… So, when I was given the chance to make some fun Holiday dishes using their catering items, I jumped on the chance! I was given a $100 gift card by BSM Media to purchase food items off their catering menu and create some fun holiday dishes! I ordered a few trays of their delicious food and made some super easy and fun appetizers, drink and desserts for the upcoming holiday. If you are looking to save a little time, but still have amazing food at your holiday party, Chick-fil-A Catering is the way to go. I just went online and placed my catering order for my local store online here: https://chick-fil-a.alohaorderonline.com/. There are so many delicious items that you can order. I ordered a small tray of chilled nuggets, a small tray of Grilled Chicken Chill Wraps & Chicken Salad Sandwiches, a small tray of their chocolate chips cookies and a gallon of their lemonade! Enough food to serve 8-10 people per tray. Here are the 4 holiday dishes I made using the catering items I purchased.
1.) Mozzarella, Tomato and Chicken Nugget Fun Bites, with Chick-fil-A dipping sauce: These small appetizer bites were not only easy to do, but they were delicious and a hit with the whole family. I just heated the tray of their nuggets. While it was heating, I sliced up grape tomatoes into small slice and cut small square pieces of mozzarella cheese. I took adorable holiday mini forks I had, (but you can use toothpicks also), and first put on a piece of mozzarella, than a slice of tomato and on bottom a Chick-fil-A nugget. I placed the delicious dipping sauce in the middle of the tray and placed the nugget bites all around it. This would make a great appetizer for any party!
2.) Rudolph Chicken Wraps: Chick-fil-A’s Grilled Chicken Cool Wraps are simply delicious and an easy to grab food for any party. I really wanted to make something cute for display and decided why not make a reindeer. All I needed was chopped black olives, red pepper, mini pretzels and the wraps. I took the wrapping off the chicken wrap, placed some black olives on the chicken to make eyes. Than I cut up the red pepper into little square pieces and placed it on the bottom of the wrap as the nose. I broke a pretzel in half, than just pushed a piece of the pretzel on each side to make antlers. They were so easy to make and super cute to display.
3.) Ornament Cookies: My kids and I love Chick-fil-A’s chocolate chip cookies. I wanted to make a yummy dessert everyone would love to eat. I just added some green or red icing to their cookies, some silver sprinkles at the top and a licorice piece as the hook. Let the ice harden and placed on an adorable tree platter. These are a super easy, yet cute, dessert that can be added to your dessert table for everyone to enjoy!
4.) Cherry Chick-fil-A Lemonade: Now I know everytime I go to Chick-fil-A, I have to purchase a cup of their amazing lemonade. I really wanted to incorporate it into my holiday meal, but with a festive twist everyone will love! I thought why not make a cherry lemonade. To do this, I purchased cherry jell-o. I poured the lemonade into a bowl, than mixed some of the jell-o powder in until the lemonade was red and delicious. To make it look festive on our table, I put green sugar crystals on the rim of a wine glass, poured in some of the cherry lemonade I made, than added green and red cherries to a toothpick and laid them across the glass. Everyone loved the way it looked and the delicious taste. It is perfect for children and adults!
I love how easy it is to order catering from Chick-fil-A. When I went to pick up the food, the manager helped carry it to my car for me since I had my kids both with me. It was so easy to just have to make some quick, fun meal items with all the food and I had more than plenty for everyone. There are so many food items to order, that the party possibilities are endless! I can’t wait to use Chick-fil-A for my next party or holiday event.
